Once upon a time…

While writing the spirited and colorful songs that inspired the zany humor of The OFF BROADS; our songwriters held themselves hostage in a sushi bar, devoured dozens of spider rolls, drank sake, followed by more sake and splashing and frolicking about barefoot in a tub of squids, at least the waiter promised it was squid.

Then there was the ever so probable possibility of consuming a not so healthy amount of poison from a vibrantly magenta sea urchin; which produced purple cotton candy hallucinations, numb tongues and bobble heads the size of watermelons with ginormous, exaggerated, cartoonish…. eyes! 

Thankfully this led to much scribbly hand writing on 1,023 napkins, magically transforming into 19 refreshingly original songs; thus creating the foundation for the delightfully wacky, musical comedy The OFF BROADS!  
…or perhaps, it was just the sake.
